Gavin (born in 1961) and educated at Millfield School, began his career in Financial Services in 1981. He has gained considerable experience working for Insurance Companies and in the Independent Financial Advisor sector. After many years of voluntary work for the LIA (a professional association now the PFS, Personal Finance Society) Gavin was honoured to serve on their Board and become President in 2001/02.

He served on the Financial Services Authority Small Business Practitioner Panel from 1999 until September 2004. Since 1999 he has also been actively involved (as part of a UK team) in worldwide negotiations for the introduction of a Financial Services ISO Standard. Following in his father's footsteps Gavin founded Executive Advisory Services in August 1992.

Gavin actively advises Corporate and Personal Clients on all aspects of financial planning. He already has several industry qualifications including the Specialist Pension Paper G60 and is a strong believer in continuous technical and personal development.

Hobbies include Rugby, Motorcycling, Flying, Shooting and playing the Tuba.

Harriet Skinner
B.A. (hons) AIFP, Certified Financial Planner - Director

Harriet (born 1960) was educated at Cranford House and subsequently attended the City of London Polytechnic Business School. Her career in Financial Services started in 1987 and Harriet has spent the majority of this time in a Senior Advisors role.

Harriet's main specilaity is advising business and corporate clients on all areas of planning including employee benefits. Having taken a degree in Business Studies and Law, Harriet has subsequently passed her industry qualifications and progressed through to the advanced examinations, in particular the G60 Specialist Pension Paper.

Hobbies include: Opera, Fine Wine, Rugby and Entertaining.

Jon Coles
Cert PFS - Managing Director

Jon (born in 1963) was brought up in the Thames Valley area and attended the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe. He joined the industry in 1986 and has spent the majority of his time responsible for teams of Consultants. In particular his expertise has grown in the Training, Development and Management fields.

In addition to standard industry qualifications Jon has attended and passed many training courses including specialist Supervisor training. Jon's role includes responsibility for Training, Competence and Compliance.

Hobbies include: Cricket, Rugby and Overseas Travel.
